Overview

At Rohati, we believe something simple: education should not depend on where you are born. Every child in India deserves a fair chance to learn, grow, and dream beyond their circumstances.

Public schooling in India may seem affordable, but for families living in slum communities, even a small fee can mean choosing between school and basic necessities. When every rupee matters, education often becomes a luxury.

Those of us fortunate enough to receive schooling have a responsibility to share it. Rohati was created with that purpose, to go directly into underserved communities and teach children who otherwise may not have consistent academic support.

Students will be grouped into beginner and advanced batches based on their current level of learning. Each group will attend two hours of classes every weekend. Instead of following a rigid syllabus, teaching will be adapted to each child’s needs because no two students learn the same way.

Through donations, we also hope to support the formal education of high performing students who show dedication and potential but lack financial resources.

If you want to be part of something that creates real impact, you can apply to volunteer with us.
